A short time ago, I was talking to a very high IQ individual, and he lamented to me that during his entire life people would call him stupid when he came up with ideas and concepts for which other people had no mindset. In other words, the concepts he came up with were so foreign to the people he was talking to, they would either call him stupid, or a genius on alternate days. As the coordinator for a think tank which happens to operate online, I hear this story far too often, and it is somewhat disturbing.
